About Us

Therapy that’s
more human
and less clinical.

The Therapy Room was created from the belief that therapy can be both deeply meaningful and deeply human.

Our Vision

Our vision is to normalize healing and create a space where you feel:

safe enough to be honest

Our Story

We wanted therapy to feel less intimidating and more human.

The Therapy Room was created to be a space that feels warm, relational, and real– a space where people don’t feel like they have to perform, over-explain, or have it all figured out before walking through the door.

Many people spend so much of their lives holding it together, overthinking, minimizing their needs, or trying to be the version of themselves they think they’re supposed to be. We wanted to create a space where people can show up more honestly than that.

We believe healing happens through feeling understood, connected, and safe enough to explore the parts of yourself you’ve had to hide, protect, or push aside. This practice was built to feel approachable, collaborative, and grounded in the reality that being human is complicated sometimes.

Our Approach

A torn, textured piece of paper or fabric in light pink or peach color.

A straight, black pinch crop tool with a handle in the middle and a long, thin blade.

How we do this work matters just as much as the work itself.

Understand your history

We begin by making sense of your experiences, patterns, and the ways you’ve learned to navigate the world.

Look beneath the surface

Many struggles today are connected to earlier experiences, relationships, and the ways your nervous system learned to adapt.

Work together

This process is collaborative. We’re not just talking – we’re paying attention to what shows up in your life and in session, and to the patterns that keep repeating.

Create meaningful change

We slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and help you move toward a life that feels more aligned and more you.

Healing is allowed to be messy.

No perfection required.
No performance necessary.
Just a willingness to show up.
